This is actually the second jam I've done with Its Based and I'm pretty disappointed. The stream was a wreck. Not only did they have multiple tech issues, they made a list of the games and played through them in order whether or not the author was there or not. Jam rule of thumb is you play the entries of the people that show up first then the rest. I got passed up initially and waited 2 hours before he finally played mine and by that time everybody was gone. I really felt like he was procrastinating playing my entry. I was really proud with my entry and was not even on the final six. Needless to say I wont be doing a jam here again now matter how much they try to bait me in with cash prizes. Its Biased.
11/10/2025 - Fixed WASD controls
This game was created in 14 days for the It's Based Game Jam - Fall 2025 where the theme was "Keeper of the Flame". I ran out of time so most of the Adult and Elder objectives weren't completed. But you can still finish the game.
Beneath the scorched peaks of Emberhold, where the stone bleeds heat and the sky glows with ash, the Pyro-Wyrm stirred.
It had slept for centuries, coiled around the molten heart of the mountain, its scales fused with obsidian and its breath steeped in flame. Legends called it Volgina, Keeper of the Flame, the last of the elder wyrms who once forged the world’s fire.
But the mountain was no longer silent.
A shard had been stolen — the MythShard, a relic bound to the wyrm’s soul. Without it, the flame dimmed, and the wyrm’s dreams turned to smoke and fury. It rose, wings unfurling like burning tapestries, eyes glowing with ancient wrath.
Villages saw the sky ignite. The Pyro-Wyrm did not speak, but its roar carved runes into the clouds.
Yet one figure stood at the edge of the caldera — a spellbinder Orc cloaked in emberlight, bearing the shard not as a weapon, but as a promise. The wyrm paused. Fire met fire. And in that moment, the mountain held its breath.
The wyrm did not destroy. It remembered.
And so the flame was rekindled — not in wrath, but in alliance.
Use 'W' to dive.
Use 'S' to climb.
Use 'A' and 'D' to rotate camera Left/Right.
Hold 'LMB' to breath fire.
Use 'SCROLL' to zoom in/out.
Hold 'LSHIFT' to fly faster.
Dive into the lava to enter the lair and heal.
I am not an artist, well I can make placeholder art. I own a LOT of assets so I use a lot of 3rd party assets and then concentrate mainly on code, design and game-play.

I know. It breaks at the vanguard objective. I have it fixed. I just need to upload it.
